Creative Writing for Kids

Course Description

Creative writing classes designed by themes that are perfect for spontaneous writers and reluctant writers as well! We will explore writing through prompts, projects, and activities that help the students find inspiration and get excited about writing. In this class, we will learn about voice, experimenting with genres, and about description and setting.

Besides helping with literacy, creative writing classes are a fantastic resource for creativity. Activities like providing feedback to other students are a great way to learn to communicate with others respectfully and effectively while having fun and meeting new friends.
