College Application 101

Course Description

Students will learn all the in’s and out’s of applying to college so that they can be best prepared for this process in the fall. With so many programs and colleges to choose from, it’s common for applicants to be overwhelmed or feel like they don’t have the info they need to make the right choices. We’ll help students with the research process of finding the right programs for them, as well as help them select a variety of schools, from safety schools to reach schools. This course will also have a heavy focus on completing college applications. We’ll help students escalate their achievements to look impressive on paper and will work extensively on writing and revising application essays.
